Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, self-driven individual who enjoys working with people and has a passion for empowering the next generation of informed and engaged citizens.
The main responsibilities of the speakers and partnerships coordinator are to maintain a robust network of volunteer speakers who address students during Close Up programs and to develop strategic partnerships with organizations that support Close Up's mission and work.
Additionally, the person in this position provides research and administrative support to the external affairs team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and book weekly speaking engagements for all Close Up programs Maintain a database of volunteer speakers and keep them up to date on Close Up happenings as needed Attend program events to provide on-the-ground or virtual support Research potential partners for the external affairs team Assist in partnership management as needed Essential
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university At least two years of experience working in project management, marketing, and/or communications (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Availability for evening and weekend programming as needed Preferred
