In this role, a typical day will include:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Gather, analyze, and compose technical informationConduct research and ensure the use of proper technical terminologyTranslate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnelCoordinate contract deliverables, including reviewing and editing deliverables prior to submission, and processing customer comments and editsAttend meetings with stakeholders to capture technical and business requirementsPrepare technical and business documentation according to PWS requirements and task order delivery scheduleSupports creation and editing of program presentation materials in PowerPointPublish documentation and work products on GDIT SharePoint site and/or customer portalCreate and maintain program documentation and briefing templatesEnsure technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and customer specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and styleSupports program Task Order Leads and team members with writing/editing standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, training materials, functional and technical design documents, and knowledge articlesPerforms a variety of complex administrative tasks in support of a programSchedules meetings and develops Agendas and Meeting MinutesCoordinates Weekly and Monthly Progress ReportingWorks with project managers to gather project/task statusSupports risk management process by assisting risk owners in writing risk statements and mitigation plansSupports action item owners in writing actions and gathering and reporting status of actionsSupport continual service improvement (CSI) identification and trackingAdminister the program's SharePoint site content, structure, groups, permissions, and provisioning usersSupports the Government Led in developing and maintaining Policies andProject Management PlanWHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Experience with technical writing in an IT environmentExperience with standard operating procedures, job aids, training materials, and design documentsExperience preparing meeting minutes and status reportsExperience with preparing and editing presentation materials/briefingsExcellent working knowledge of MS Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePointExcellent oral and written communication skills with experience in interaction with customersAble to work independently and as part of a team and ability to learn and implement new processes quicklyOrganized and detail-oriented, ability to suggest process changes and have advanced Problem-solving skillsExperience driving continuous improvement of business processes and technical operations.
Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs.
Current TS/SCI clearance requiredAssociate degree and 3 years technical writing experience in an IT environment.
Without a degree, 5 years of relevant technical writing experience is required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years technical writing experience in an IT environmentTraining courses related to project managementITIL v3 or v4 certificationTraining courses related to Lean Six SigmaSharePoint administration experience or certificationExperience with ServiceNow for incident management, problem management, service request management, and reporting/dashboardsExperience with federal financial, acquisitions, or budgeting systems or business processesPrevious experience working with/for a federal agencyWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
