Our Department of State (DOS) Team supports the DOS FPT mission by providing day-to-day and critical telecommunications systems and services.
AT&T has four openings for a Secure Deployment Technician to support the DOS LAN/WAN Services Division, in providing secure worldwide design, deployment, support and management of IT solutions in the DOS LAN and WAN environments.
Job Duties/
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, test and execute DOS FPT information security process in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access.
Develop standard and approved processes and procedures to deploy DOS security solutions and equipment at remote locations Perform unassisted DOS network and security component installation at remote locations Perform troubleshooting skills with remote staff and commercial network providers to work through any deployment problems Possess strong customer facing skills and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction across all remote site locations Possess the ability to analyze deployment sites and capabilities to best fit deployment solution Attention to detail and keep accurate records relating to secure deployment activities.
Required Clearance:
Top Secret (#topsecret) Required Qualifications:
Four or more years of secure IT telecommuncations experience and a Top Secret.
1 years of progressive security and security change control experience, 2 years of experience working in/leading an IT team for a Federal Agency, 1 years of experience integrating new telecommunications security technology into Federal Gov enterprise level networks.
Candidates must be highly analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements and other issues.
Aside from technical skills, prospective candidates should have excellent communications, teamwork, leadership and conflict management skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum of four years of comparable work experience Proven experience/work within the DOS, 1 years of complex systems integration leveraging voice and data over a world-wide Federal enterprise network CCNA or CCNP, Avaya Red certification Ready to join our team? Apply today!.
